Jon Gosselin’s ex-girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, has filed a harassment complaint against Jon! She claims that Jon slammed her against the wall of their shared Manhattan apartment after seeing a picture of Hailey kissing Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman.
Can we say….motive? The alleged incident occurred December 20, mere days before Jon’s apartment was ransacked by an “unknown” intruder.
Jon’s lawyer, Mark Heller, has replied to the accusations, stating “Jon is a lover, not a fighter”.

Jon Gosselin received a late Christmas gift on Saturday, when he returned home to his Manhattan apartment to find it had been ransacked! 
Along with stealing Jon’s television, dishes and various other electronics (including a Wii video game, but not the Wii itself??), the burglar also hacked and slashed his/her way through Gosselin’s apartment, cutting up his furniture, bedding and clothes. A note was also found at the scene, stabbed with a knife into his dresser. While police are remaining tight lipped about who left the note, sources say former flame/homewrecker Hailey Glassman’s name is attached.
Is she really stupid enough to sign her name to this Grinchly act, or do you smell the same fish I do?

Kate Gosselin may have to look for a real job in the New Year, as she has been dropped from the list of celebrity hosts on the upcoming TV show “Mom Logic”.
Sources say that Kate was “too controversial” for their audience, but I think maybe the producers caught her stellar performance on Jay Leno recently and thought twice!
Hopefully Kate sees the silver lining and takes some time off to spend with her eight kids!

Aside from the obvious satellite delay, she seemed a little scripted and reserved….

Looks like newly divorced father of 8, Jon Gosselin, could use some extra cash.
Apparently Jon brought his 2005 BMW M3 to a use car lot and attempted to trade it in for a more practical Subaru, plus $4,000 cash. Guess “celebrities” aren’t recession proof after all, as Jon’s offer was rejected.
Hey Jon, maybe you’ll have better luck on Ebay?
Ten years of wedded….bliss… has come to an end today, as parents-of-the-year Jon and Kate Gosselin are officially divorced. 
Kate will keep the estate home in Pennsylvania, as well as the couple’s eight children, maintaining she hopes Jon will still be a part of their lives (seeing as how he lives on the other side of the country, to what extent remains to be seen).
Of the finalization, Kate said “I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the new year, focusing on the children.”

TLC filed a lawsuit against Jon Gosselin, claiming he broke a number of sections of their contract with him, including getting paid for appearances on other shows, spilling information about production and behind-the-scenes secrets, and, oh yeah, not allowing them to film anymore.

Jon Gosselin filed papers earlier this week that effectively put his divorce from wife, Kate, on hold for 90 days. In a statement Jon gave, he explains the delay will give him a chance to regain control of his “future and family”, and apologizes for his behaviour over the past few months. I think it might take a little more than that to make up for cheating on your wife, sleeping with the 22 year old daughter of your wife’s plastic surgeon, the baby sitter and even another woman named Kate….however, a step in the right direction and quite possibly the smartest thing Jon has done in a long time.
With the possible cancellation of the show, and a reconcilliation between Jon and Kate, I am starting to think those kids just might have a chance!

Be careful what you wish for, Jon Gosselin!
For all of Jon’s whining about wanting to be off the show, now that its finally happening he is throwing a bit of a tantrum. On the heels of TLC’s announcement they will be reformating “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ come November 2 to focus more on Kate and her struggle as a soon-to-be divorced mother of 8, and renaming the show “Kate Plus 8″, Jon Gosselin has responded by having a cease-and-desist order drawn up. The order prohibits film or production crews from setting foot on the property he jointly owns with Kate, and allows for the arrest of anyone who violates these terms. There is no word yet on whether the order extends to filming the children off site, as well.
On the one hand, WAY TO GO JON! for finally having the balls to try to stop the show and maybe, just maybe, offer your children some semblence of a normal life again.
On the other hand, its really too bad the cease-and-desist is merely an angry, retalitory gesture on his part instead of an actual act out of concern for his children.
I wonder what he’s going to do when he realizes he is stopping his gravy train……..

TLC has just announced what we all have seen coming for some time now – they are finished with Jon 
and his tabloid-loving antics.
The new show, to be titled Kate Plus 8, will relaunch on November 2 and take a deeper look into Kate’s new life as a single mom of 8 kids. Jon won’t be out of the picture completely, however, as TLC is retaining their exclusive rights contract with him. He will still be shown from time to time, however he will not a regular part of the reality tv show (kind of like his role as a father!!).
This news is not surprising, and comes on the heels of the show’s worst ratings to date: just over 1 million viewers tuned in to the last aired episode (compared to the 10 million voyeurs who watched Jon and Kate announce their divorce).

If you are wondering what Kate on “Mom Logic” means, well let me tell you, it’s the title of her new Talk Show. She began filming her talk show this very weekend. 
There were a few guests in consideration that didn’t quite make the cut. One guest was Sandra Bernhard, the very famous comedian since the 80’s. The other guest was Tammy Lee Michaels who is a recurring actress on the show the L Word. I take issue with the similarities with these two women. Both women have made it publicly known that they are lesbians. Sandra is a Gay and Lesbian rights activist and Tammy Lynn’s partner is Melissa Etheridge. Considering what these two women have in common, I hope that is not the reason why they were discounted from the show. The show has been designed for Kate Gosselin, Paula Deen and guests to give a mix of advice, health, and beauty tips. I am sure someone of a Lesbian orientation can who is a mother can help give the same advice. I hope I am wrong on my hunch.
Now there have been confirmation that Rene Syler and Lee Woodruff have joined the show. The very first guest of Kate and Paula is Mel B. If you are wondering who Mel B is, she was the one who had the paternity suit with Ed Murphy. She is a perfect choice for Kate’s first guest. They both have experience dealing with immature men, and very public break-ups. Now rumor has it that Kate and Paula wanted Christie Brinkley to be thier very first guest, but she very kindly declined. There was no reason given. Stay tuned to find out when we can expect to see her show finally air to the public.

Kate without the ball and chain, is a Kate that is much different than the Kate we have seen for years on the “Jon and Kate plus 8″ show. Some say she is now a celebrity diva. She has appeared on
many shows to defend her honor like Larry King Live, Good Morning America, The Rachel Ray Show, and most recently the View.
There is one big difference with one of the shows she was on vs the others. On the View she was a co-host. Yes, you read it right, a co-host. Going on the View as a co-host is a high honor that is usually given to celebrities. I am sorry. I have a real issue calling her a celebrity. She is a reality TV personality in my opinion. However, there are a lot of people who feel differently. Differently enough to give her a Talk Show.
According to the rumors that are circling around the celebrity circuit, is the same media group that gave Ellen DeGeneres and Tyra Banks their talk shows is working out a deal to give Kate her own talk show. She would be alongside Paula Deen. I can’t get over that Paula Deen would run second to Kate, but so far that is how it is being set up, according to the rumors. Now I am sure there will be a lot of changes before they put anything in stone. Rumor also has it that this same media group is looking for women to cast for the show to work with her. The women have to be moms. Reason being, is that Kate wants to have a show that focuses on being a Mom. She feels as though there isn’t any shows currently that really deals with that issue as the main focus of the show.
The upside to her having this show would mean alleviating the need for having the kids around on television for her main source of income. The kids would finally have a chance at a normal life. This news will make many concerned viewers very happy.
The down side that also has to be taken in consideration is, what will happen with the kids when Mommy is busy with her show and Daddy is in NY pretending to be Hugh Hefner? At least with the dysfunctional life style they have now, the kids get to see Mommy and Daddy when it’s time to tape an episode. Any other time, Mommy is out doing her thing, either traveling, going to salons for pampering, or busy writing books. Unfortunately, the world knows what and who Daddy’s doing. Daddy as it is barely can muster up enough energy (probably due to a hangover) to play with the kids when it comes time for taping the show. But as we all know, he has enough energy to complain to the media that Kate gets all of the air time and that she always gets her way. Wait a minute, is Kate getting her way again, Jon? Wasn’t it just weeks ago Jon was throwing a temper tantrum that he couldn’t have a show about divorced Dads? Wonder what ever happened with that? If I remember correctly, he said that it had something to do with the network TLC and that according to his contract, he couldn’t go on other networks or something like that. But yet Kate is featured everywhere and is in the works to get her own show. I think someone was trying not to bruise his ego.
You have to be poised, intelligent, and calm to offered what Kate has been offered. Something that Jon has not displayed in past behavior. In my own personal opinion, I think Kate gets more professional air time than Jon because she is not out at bars doing body shots, dating and cheating on everyone she can, and running away from her kids to Paris for a “love” vacation. Then asking for a show about how to be divorced all the while complaining to the media about the your spouse. There are enough reality shows with boozing, sleaze, and dysfunction in it. Maybe he should approach VH1 about doing a dating show for him. That is more like his life style now. She also didn’t display multiple personality syndrome by yelling at the Paparazzi to leave them alone and then complain that she isn’t getting enough media time.
The question still remains. Is Kate going to be accepted by the public if she goes ahead with this adventure? Based on polls taken by several Internet sites, People watched the show to see the drama unfold, not because they exactly liked either one. In fact, it has been made clear that Kate is known to be the witch with 8 kids. But people have been known to express one opinion about something, but when the media waves their magical wand, people are instantly persuaded to change their mind. Advertising is so popular and expensive because it works. It definitely influences the public. The public has already been influenced by her new hair style. What would be funny is, since Kate done so “well” on the Kelly and Regis Show, maybe Kelly Rippa will be a co-hosting mom on her show. They are doing casting calls, so make it known who you want to see represent this show with Kate Gosselin.

Recall a few weeks ago when Kate called the police to their home when Jon wouldn’t let her in the house/compound? Rumor has it that the twins, Mady and Cara, called Kate because Daddy was being inappropriate with their babysitter, and they felt uncomfortable. That ‘babysitter’, Stephanie Santoro, is now coming forward confirming that she had a relationship with Jon before the divorce was final (and while, she claims, he was dating Hailey!)
It doesn’t stop there….apparently she also works at Legends. Sound familiar? Its the Pennsylvania bar that all the trouble began for Jon (or, became public, at least). Jon was FIRST seen hooking up with college co-eds and then linked to Deanna Hummel at Legends before the divorce rumors started to fly earlier this year.
Really, Jon…maybe you need to expand your dating pool a little (and start an actual relationship with a grownup!!) – haven’t you heard of eHarmony?

In a recent interview with ABC, Jon Gosselin admits to despising his soon-to-be-ex wife, Kate. He goes on to say that he loves his current girlfriend, 22 year old Hailey Glassman, more than he ever loved his former wife of 10 years and mother of his 8 children. Ouch.
Jon reasons that Hailey “encourages” and “respects” him – something we all saw Kate was incapable of doing. But still, she’s 22! Of course she’s going to “encourage” and “respect” you while the spotlight is on and the bank account is full!
The worst part is, Daddy’s comments are out there for the world to see. He better be saving some of his money to pay for their much-needed therapy.

This past Saturday Jon Gosselin ‘hosted’ a pool party at MGM Grand’s Wet Republic in Las Vegas. From the photo op, it looks like a lot of young ladies showed up to party with the Father of the Year! Wonder what he got paid for his appearance?

Police were called to the Gosselin compound last night after a roaring domestic dispute!! 
It was Jon’s turn to be at the house with the (soon-to-be-ex) couple’s eight children, and according to their agreement when one parent is at the home, the other stays elsewhere. Apparently Kate didn’t get the memo, because when she showed up at the gate Douche Jon would not let her in. The two argued through the gate until police were finally called. Reports are that Kate checked into a nearby hotel.
Who wants to bet the call came from inside the house? Perhaps Jon’s new girlfriend, Hailey dialed???
These two move fast – new couple Jon Gosselin and 22 year old Hailey Glassman spent some time in Saint Tropez, France, where Jon was meeting with his new BFF Christian Audiger. 
Despite photographic evidence to the contrary, the trip was intended for business and not pleasure. Audiger and Gosselin are in the process of inking a deal for a new fashion line after the designer noticed Jon wearing his Ed Hardy line on Jon & Kate Plus 8.
It seems Deanna Hummel is already old news and TV’s favorite father figure, Jon Gosselin, has moved on (or rather, under) someone new! It would appear from recently surfaced pics that Gosselin 
has been spending a great deal of time with Hailey Glassman, a 22 year old who is no stranger to Jon (or Kate) – little Hailey is the daughter of the surgeon who donated his services to perform Kate’s tummy tuck a few years ago!
The ‘couple’ have been photographed on multiple occasions, eating out and getting their drink on late into the evening.
I don’t know what’s worse – the fact that Jon is on to his second fling since the seperation, or that Kate needs to find a new plastic surgeon…

TLC has been gearing up for a “big announcement” on tonight’s show, but it looks like the secret’s out!
We’ll update more as tonight’s show airs…
Now the only question is…how much will Jon’s child support payments be?!
New promos have surfaced for Monday night’s episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 enticing a dwindling viewership to once again tune in for a “big announcement”. The clips show Jon & Kate interviewing separately (no surprise as they have done so this entire season), and Kate with a box of tissues talking about how they have been “dealing with this” for a long time now. Jon, showing off a new set of pierced ears, admits that he has changed and he “is now the person I know I am”.
Could they FINALLY be announcing what we already know, that they are getting a divorce??

I recently received a comment from a reader that I thought was worth sharing as I agree with many of her points, however I feel that she and many others out there are still missing the point. I am not a “hater”, and have nothing but sympathy and compassion for the Gosselin family, and I feel the same is likely true for the other bloggers out there. Its amazing to me that there is such a divide between viewers of this show, and that the situation evokes such strong emotions for either side of the debate. While I agree that no one is perfect, and it isn’t fair or right to cast judgement, it is our responsibility as a society to look out for the welfare of all children (not just our own!).
I am not posting this comment below to “call out” the poster, nor do I believe there is a right or a wrong opinion here. I am simply hoping to encourage healthy debate and encourage you to join in to the discussion as well. “This whole situation is sad. Its easy to judge a situation when you are not involved. Usually, and unfortunately the assumptions about people made by strangers are wrong and happen to be very destructive to the people they are about. This is a real family with real kids that will have to deal with all of this for the rest of thier lives. Even when things die off they will always be reminded in some way of what happened because people can be very cruel. I have read so many blogs and read so many articles written by people fueled with hate and making sure everything they have done wrong is publically known. But you know what, in all actuality every person, every family has faults and skeletons in thier closets. No family is exempt and if anyone tries to claim otherwise they are liars. Like the old saying goes, “Those who live in glass houses should not cast the first stone”. I am sure everyone of us could be scruntinized and be found guilty of doing something wrong in raising your family. We are human. We make mistakes. Instead of extending hate, how about extending help to this family if thier life and those kids are so important to all these judging strangers. Most of the people forcing thier ill opinions on this family will claim to be good christians, or whatever faith they believe in and I am sure JUDGEMENT does not look kindly in anyone’s faith. Its unfortunate that this part of thier lives has to be so public. Whether they are in compliance or not should not reflect them as parents or people. The kids are obviously well taken of by them. Its the public that is being destructive to these kids. They are the ones endangering thier welfare. Ironically its the ones pointing the fingers at Jon and Kate. So many families have marital problems and sometimes get divorced. That does not make them any less of a parent and it shouldn’t be in this case either. How would we like to be picked apart like this and have our kids subjected judgement and cruelty; having people trying to peek through our blinds and follow us through stores; having to worry every second our children are in school that no one tries to something stupid to them because of a marital issue with mommy and daddy. Whatever happens with this family should be left between them privately to deal with. Lets remind ourselves of what our faith tells us we should do when it comes to casting judgement and hatred to anyone. “Just my opinion””

While I completely agree with you that we all make mistakes (I am sure if I had millions of people tuning in to watch me parent on a weekly basis, it wouldn’t be perfect!), its not the day to day parenting of these children that is at question or whether or not Jon and Kate are loving and that these children are being provided for.
Jon and Kate Gosselin CHOSE to have cameras come in, they CHOSE to be scrutinized. The children have NO CHOICE. They cannot say “Please, I do not like everyone in America knowing everything about me. I do not want my friends and schoolmates watching me learn how to potty train.” You say that it is the public that is being destructive to these children. I 100% agree! So, Jon and Kate, shut the public out! I do not judge how Jon and Kate parent, but I do feel that these children are being EXPLOITED AGAINST THEIR WILL. I have no hatred towards this family, but a great deal of sympathy.
When I flip through the TV guide listings, I see more and more children suffering the same fate as TLC and other stations profit. Shows such as 18 Kids and Counting, Table for 12, and now even Nadya Suleman (mother of octuplets and sextuplets) will be getting her own show. All of a sudden these families of multiples are creeping out of the woodwork to sell their children for 15 minutes of fame.
I have no doubt that when these parents were first approached to do these shows, they had only the best of hopes and intentions for their families. Yes, the Gosselins now live in a beautiful home and Jon and Kate can stay at home and raise their children if they choose. But at what cost? Now that America is witnessing the damage that such exposure can have on a family, shouldn’t we be saying enough is enough and not developing MORE of these reality tv shows?? Its obvious that we as viewers do not have enough sense to stop watching, the drama is actually causing MORE people to watch, which in turn has caused TLC to order more episodes, which in turn will hurt these children even further. What needs to happen is for these television producers to see and read enough public outrage that they finally decide to stop pimping out these families.
Tammy, the more public awareness and anger exists about this issue, the better the chances that parents of multiples out there (or any parents) who are charged with the greatest responsibility of all, protecting their children, will read this and say “Hmm, maybe the rewards here don’t outweigh the risks”, or a television production company will say “No, we do not feel the need to profit off of the misery of others and exploit the most vulnerable of our society”.
According to MSN.com, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor is investigating Jon & Kate Plus 8 after receiving complaints about the show. It seems they are looking into
whether or not the show complies with child labor laws in that state. Of course, TLC is fighting back, assuring the Department that the show “fully complies” with all state laws and regulations.
The hit “reality” show follows the marriage (and now possible divorce!) of Jon and Kate Gosselin as they raise their twin girls and sextuplets. Filming of the family takes place at least three days per week, professional fluorescent lighting has been installed throughout the house, and cameras have been installed in the sextuplets’ bedrooms to catch anything that might be amusing to viewers. The cameras are present constantly, the children do not get “vacations” (the camera crew even film on Christmas morning!). Many opponents of the show suggest that the children are not afforded due privacy as they cannot get away from the camera. I can’t imagine how they will feel when they grow up and watch old episodes (the producers seem to only capture twin Mady having “melt downs”, as Kate calls them, or zooming in on one of the younger boy’s bum crack as he bent over near a poolside on vacation).

One of our members commented that during the Season 5 Premiere, Kate looks like she has had some work done – she did look alot younger than in past episodes! I did some digging, and as far as I 
can tell she hasn’t had any major procedures done since her free tummy tuck after the sextuplets were born (just one more perk that comes with exploiting your children for reality tv!). What I did find are rumors Kate has been using Resveratol, which is not surprising given its popularity right now. I saw a piece on 60 Minutes recently (you can check it out here) that talks about how it works and why everyone is buzzing about it.
Now that she is competing for her husband’s attention with a 23 year old, its no wonder she is doing what it takes to look younger!

This episode actually made me feel bad for Kate. Its one thing to have invited cameras (and millions of fans) into your home for the past few years,
its quite another to be facing a separation and the destruction of the life you’ve built on national television. Throughout the season premiere I kept thinking back to the Home Videos episode that showed video footage of a very young Jon and Kate, before they were married, before the twins and sextuplets, and before the media. They looked so happy, so hopeful for what the future might hold for them. And then on this new episode they interviewed separately, Jon looking very much as though he has mentally checked out, and Kate remaining emotionless yet speaking very candidly with pain in her voice about the events that have unfolded.
Although neither Kate nor Jon specifically used the words “affair” or “divorce”, and remained fairly vague, it was clear they were speaking of Jon’s recent indiscretions and the toll it has taken on their family and lives. Jon remains adament that he has never cheated on Kate, and only he will ever know the truth, but he was very apologetic about what he has brought upon them. He also spoke of feeling like he was in prison with the paparazzi following his every move.
Kate also spoke of the hurt that Jon’s actions have caused the family, and at one point said she should have seen it coming for the past 6 months “or longer, if I am being honest with myself”. They both talked about Kate traveling so much (”Its my job”), and revealed that Jon has been staying at home with the kids while Kate is away (”But he has help, its not like he’s doing it alone”). Kate called the situation “complicated” in that he doesn’t want her traveling so much, but didn’t want her around at the same time. It became fairly obvious that Jon lives away from the house while Kate is not out of town.
During this episode, the sextuplets also celebrated their 5th birthday party (on Mother’s Day, no less, however they did not mention this fact during the episode). We see their new million dollar home, as Kate is preparing for the party. Kate reveals that since Jon has been gone, Mady and Cara have really stepped up to the plate and have been helping her alot with the younger children. Kate also reveals that Jon is not present as he has decided he needed a break that weekend, however she would still be taking the children out shopping for their party decorations as promised. She packs up all 8 children and as they arrive at the party supply store, Kate instructs them to unbuckle quickly as “the paparazzi are here”. The children oblige and are met with a firestorm of photographers. She tells them not to say the word, and instead tells the camera they call the papaazzi “P People”. The family emerges from the store with their supplies, and the “P People” are of course waiting for them.
Back at the house, a very tired Kate finishes preparing for the big party by stuffing four pinatas and the twins help her out by folding gift boxes for all the guests. This will be the first year that the kids will have friends at the birthday party as the sextuplets have started school. They have invited the entire class, including the teacher and her children as well as a friend for Mady and Cara.
The next day Kate arrives at the site of the birthday party and with the help of the production crew they set up the area with decorations, picnic tables and several bouncy castles. Jon is not present for the setup. Kate explains to the camera that it took a while to get to the site as they needed to try to lose the paparazzi that were tailing them. It looks freezing out, and there are bugs flying around Kate everywhere. Eventually they finish the setup, and the party begins! Jon does arrive, and it is VERY cold between he and Kate. They do not speak for the first little while, until at some point Kate starts barking orders at him again.
The kids play on the bouncy castles (some were wet and Jon had to clean them out), watch a magician, play with a huge bunny, have cake and ice cream and then whack away at the pinatas. Kate loudly groans several times that the party is too long, and “over scheduled”. When all of the activities are complete, Kate gathers the eight kids (and Jon!) up for a family photo. Later in her private interview, Kate begins to cry and says she is scared it will be their last family picture together. At one point during the party, one of the little girls is talking with Jon and says “I don’t want you to leave anymore”. They hug, and it is a heartbreaking moment 
The episode ends with both Jon and Kate interviewing together. They sit very far apart, and do not speak to one another. Both of them agree it is still all about the kids, and neither know what the future holds.
One thing is certain at the end of this episode…I can’t wait for the next one!!!!!
I definitely think now that they will be getting a divorce….how about you??
The highly anticipated premiere of the fifth season of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will air this Monday, May 25. TLC says that the couple will discuss their relationship status and address rumors of husband Jon Gosselin’s affair with the much younger Deanna Hummel. I suspect everyone and their cats will be tuned in on Monday trying to analyze every eye-roll from Jon and negative jab from Kate, and we’ll have the full episode recap here for discussion!!
Kate loves the fame?
According to PerezHilton, Kate Gosselin’s brother, Kevin, and his wife Jodi (she appeared on many episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, as Kate would often leave the children with her) are confirming that Jon and Kate have actually been split up for several months, and are just putting on an act for the show!!

Kate Gosselin revealed to People Magazine that her marriage to husband, Jon Gosselin, is indeed on the rocks due to none other than 23 year old Deanna Hummel. Jon has been linked to Hummel recently in the tabloids as having an affair, something the two adamantly deny. But the proof is indeed in the pudding, so to speak. Jon and Deanna were first photographed leaving a bar together in the wee hours of the morning. Since then, Deanna’s brother (and roommate) has come forward saying he has not only seen the couple together, but also (shudder) heard them together. As well, video has surfaced of Jon allegedly leaving the young school teacher’s house early in the morning.
For the past week, Kate has done a whirlwind tour of the talk show circuit, appearing on Larry King, the Today Show and Rachael Ray, as well as conducting several magazine interviews. During all of them she has remained steadfast in saying the family is as strong as ever. Her interview today with People Magazine revealed a different story, as she tells the mag: “I don’t know that we’re in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing. I’ve been struggling with the question of ‘Who is this person?’ (Deanna) for a while. I remember where I was the first time I heard her name. It’s one of those things where you can try to make it go away, but there’s blaring, red flashing lights.”

The Gosselin Sextuplets celebrate their 5th birthday today!
On May 10, 2004, Kate and Jon Gosselin welcomed the sextuplets, who were born by cesarean section at 30 weeks. In honor of their birthday, we’ve found an article detailing their birth from that day five years ago. Its very strange to look back on the article now, before Jon & Kate became “celebrities” with their reality TV show, Jon & Kate Plus Ei8ht!

Star Magazine is reporting that Jon Gosselin may not have been the first to cheat! A source tells Star that Kate Gosselin was getting a little too close with her personal trainer, causing Jon to go astray (he has been linked recently to 23 year old school teacher, Deanna Hummel). As well, the source goes on to say Kate may be involved with her personal bodyguard who accompanies her on her book tour stops.
Was Kate the first to cheat, or is this simply a fabricated story to sell more magazines? It is Star, afterall….
“You can’t believe everything you hear”, Kate Gosselin tells Larry King on his program May 7, 2009 when asked about rumors of husband Jon Gosselin’s affair. Jon was recently photographed leaving Legend’s Lounge with 23 year old school teacher, Deanna Hummel. The pair have both made statements reiterating they are just friends, however since that time Deanna’s brother Jason has come out saying Jon spends nights at their house, and a video was released by Us Weekly showing Jon leaving their residence in the early morning.
Larry goes on to ask Kate whether or not her children are aware of the rumors. Kate replies that they go to a private school where people aren’t interested in that type of thing, so the children at this point are unaware (thankfully!)
“We are a family who did not set out to live the celebrity lifestyle….I am not a celebrity, I am a mom and a wife. I feel that Jon is having difficult times realizing that you can’t go to the grocery store without people whipping out their cell phones, calling everyone they know and taking pictures of it. He is dealing very poorly with it.”
When asked by Larry whether she regretted doing the show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, she explained the family and children have had good experiences, and that they have learned to “survive anything”.

Us Weekly has released video of Jon Gosselin allegedly leaving the home of 23 year old school teacher Deanna Hummel. The video tape was made on March 13, more than a month before the two were spotted leaving Legend’s Lounge bar together at two in the morning. Both Jon Gosselin (of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 ) and Deanna have made public statements denying any affair, and claiming they are ‘just friends’.
The video shows Jon exiting a house and walking down the street, and viewers are left to believe the home he is leaving is that of Deanna Hummel. If it is indeed her house, its going to be pretty hard to deny any wrongdoing (even if he isn’t cheating on wife, Kate Gosselin, it can’t be appropriate for him to be having co-ed sleepovers…).
Kate Gosselin appeared on the Today Show and was quoted as saying she is “hesitant to believe” that Jon is having an affair, and that the two are weathering this together, as a family.

Kate Gosselin sat down with Rachael Ray during a taping of the popular talkshow on Wednesday to address rumors of her husband’s infidelity. Earlier in March, Jon Gosselin was photographed leaving Legend’s Lounge, a bar in his home state of Pennsylvania, at two in the morning with a then mystery woman who has been identified as 23 year old Deanna Hummel. The pair sped away in Jon’s new Nissan Nismo, and reportedly Jon was not wearing his wedding ring. During this time, Kate was out of town promoting her books, Multiple Blessings and the new Eight Little Faces. Both Jon and Deanna have issued statements to magazines that they are ‘just friends’ and nothing more, however multiple sources close to the two (including Deanna’s brother Jason) have confirmed the affair.
Kate was understandably vague during the interview, telling Rachael Ray they were taking it one day at a time and doing everything they could to protect their children (the couple have twin girls as well as sextuplets).
“It’s one of those things that we’re just handling privately,we’re just taking it one step at a time and I’m trying to walk through it. The focus remains on our kids. It has always been there and will continue to be there. One day at a time, like we’ve always done. One hour at a time, one minute at a time, and my life’s been like that.”
“Certainly none of this could have been predicted,” she said. “Now going into our fifth season, we have stepped back and realized that it is part of this process, and I always say there’s really never any going back. We just need to go forward. That is my new saying — just keep on marching through this. Just doing what we need to.”

Kate Gosselin has been traveling often as of late to promote her books, Multiple Blessings and the brand new Eight Little Faces. Kate has graced the stage alone, delighting audience members with stories of her pregnancies, the birth of the Sextuplets and challenges that face both her and husband Jon Gosselin on a daily basis raising two sets of multiples (the couple also have 8 yr old twin girls).
While Kate has been traveling alone to various speaking engagements, Jon has been noticeably absent and during one of her recent trips he was photographed leaving a bar with a female friend in the wee hours of the morning, sparking a barrage of rumors that he has been cheating. So, it was a nice surprise when Jon sat alongside his wife in support on May 2 while she spoke at the Southern Women’s Show in their home state of Pennsylvania. Kate even cracked a joke that she was happy not to have to sit next to an empty chair.

Jon’s exit that have the internet and gossip world abuzz. Jon left the PA bar at 2 in the morning with a mysterious woman by his side, and his wedding ring noticeably absent. When the pair realized they had been seen, Jon allegedly yelled “Get in the car, babe!” and the two sped away in Jon’s new car, a Nissan Nismo. Kate Gosselin was out of town at the time promoting her new book, Eight Little Faces.
Shortly after the ‘event’, Jon issued a statement claiming the mystery date was simply a friend, who happened to be a female, and who also happened to want to check out his new car. He then went on to admit he had shown “poor judgment”, and was sorry for what the ordeal was doing to his family.
The mysterious woman has now come forward and is claiming the two are “just friends”. Deanna Hummel, 23, told People magazine that she and Jon met several months ago and hung out often, always in groups with other people, and were friends and nothing more. She corroborated Jon’s story that she indeed wanted to see his new car, which evidently explains why the two drove off together, alone.

Jon later told the media he was simply at the bar with “a friend”, and she wanted to check out his brand new car, which is apparently why the pair sped away from the bar with a drunk Jon in the passenger seat (hey, at least he doesn’t drink and drive!) sans wedding ring. The new car Jon was referring to is a brand new Nissan Nismo 350Z – quite the step up from his 10-seater family van!
Sources report that the car was a gift from Kate to celebrate Jon’s recent 32nd birthday. Others speculate the car was given by Kate as a bribe to either a) Stay in the marriage, or b) Stay on the show. Whatever Kate’s intention was, I am sure it had nothing to do with helping Jon scout out potential new baby-mommas!

In this episode of Jon and Kate plus Ei8ht, Jon and Kate officially say ‘goodbye’….to Season 4.
Kate takes the children on several fun outings such as the Please Touch museum where the sextuplets have a fantastic day building airplanes, splashing in a mini-water park and riding a carosel. The sextuplets also paint on a canvas each, which Kate explains will hang in the new house (always needing to be in control, of course she has chosen the colors of paint that they use so that the paintings match the walls of the new house….)
During the chair interview sessions, Jon explains that he was not present for these outings as he was at his mom’s house in Huntingdon, PA for eight days (as if the rumors of a Jon and Kate split weren’t fuelled enough already!). He also talks about his frustration with being filmed constantly, and admits he isn’t sure if they are going to be back for another season. Kate disagrees with Jon, and tells the viewers she is very happy doing the show, that it has allowed them both to stay at home. Jon tells Kate that is “her, that’s not me”, and that he still isn’t sure that is what he wants. “I can’t just be Jon, I always have to be Jon and Kate Plus 8″. Jon also goes on to say that when he goes out, he gets photographed and everyone knows his business. He is sort of mumbling and trailing off here, and Kate isn’t saying anything at all. Its very clear he is trying to address the rumors of his appearance at the co-ed college party which he was photographed at with two younger girls. Again, Kate is not saying anything.
As the season finale winds down, both Jon and Kate say goodbye and admit they are still not sure if they will be back next season. They both sign the walls of the set, walk away from the interview chair, and the cameras fade out.

Rumors circulating the internet about Jon’s recent indiscretions abound, however there is also talk that he has admitted publicly to wanting a divorce.
One source claims Jon went to a bar after a public speaking engagement in February of this year, and told the group of people he was with that he and Kate had already separated and they would be getting a divorce as soon as their contract with TLC for Jon & Kate Plus 8 ends in a year (is this why they agreed to do one more season, to fill out their contract?)
On another occasion, Jon allegedly told some co-eds at a college bar that he would likely be getting a divorce (the source goes on to say that he then tried to kiss the girls while dancing with them).
Although Jon has not yet specifically denied the divorce rumors, he has released a statement saying that the rumors “make (him) reluctant to live life like the average person would…As you can see on the show, I am not perfect, but I am part of a loving family and couple”.
So, are these divorce rumors just that – rumors? Or will we be seeing a Jon Minus 9 spin off next year when their contract is up?

February 6, 2009 – Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. Jon Gosselin spends this evening doing what any ordinary father of eight and loving husband (to wife Kate Gosselin) would do….parties with drunken co-eds!!
Allegedly, Jon Gosselin (of TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus Eight fame) invited himself to a party being held by Juniata College seniors. Aside from getting smashed and hitting on young women, 31 year old Jon spent the night playing beer pong with the college’s women’s volleyball team.
Interestingly enough, this incident took place in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where Jon’s mom lives. Is there trouble in paradise, so much so that Jon has moved out and is staying with his mom? During the Season 4 Final of Jon and Kate Plus 8, “Family Outing”, Jon explains he stayed at his mom’s house for eight days to help her as she broke her foot, and her husband (Jon’s father is deceased) was out of town.
Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Jon. After suffering constant beratement and emasculation at the hands of Kate, its no small wonder he is out blowing off steam!

Season 1, Episode 6: The twin Gosselin girls, Cara and Mady, are turning 6, and Jon and Kate decide to take them to New York City to visit the “American Girl” store and get them each an American Girl doll.
The four travel by train which is a nice treat for Jon, and he is happy to spend more time with the twins rather than driving (don’t blame him!) Kate is scared that the platform is so close to the train tracks, and stands back while they wait for the train. The girls seem quite agitated during the trip, and Kate explains that this is one of the pitfalls of keeping the kids on such a strict routine: breaking the routine puts the kids off.
When they arrive in New York, Kate is upset that the twins are taking their time walking to the American Girl store and doesn’t think they will make it on time. She argues with Jon about taking a cab, and wins in the end. The four ride by taxi the rest of the way.
When they arrive, Jon and Kate surprise the twins by telling them they will get to see a show at American Girl. Mady is upset by this, and demands to know why Kate didn’t just tell them. I guess not everyone likes birthday surprises…..The cameras are apparently not allowed into the theatre, but when the family emerges Mady is visibly upset again. She yells at Kate and accuses her of “ruining the whole thing” by talking to her. Kate gently takes Mady into a corner and speaks to her, while Jon asks why this had to happen while the cameras were filming.
Jon and Kate then take the twins to the American Girl store and each get to pick out an outfit. Mady and Cara are both thrilled with this (and well behaved!) After making their selections, the four of them head to the American Girl restaurant, where staff bring a miniature highchair for the twins’ dolls, as well as a mini place setting for each of them. Jon and Kate then present each girl with their own American Girl doll, and the looks on their faces nearly brings Kate to tears. She says to the camera crew that although she enjoys special time with the twins, she is fearful she will never get to do these sort of things with her three “little girls”.
The episode ends with Jon, Kate and the twins returning home, much to the delight of the sextuplets.

Season 1, Episode 5: Kate Gosselin takes viewers along to the grocery store, and we learn how she manages to shop for a family of 10. The Gosselin family spends $150 per week on food ($600 per month, or only $60 per family member!) Apparently she manages this by cutting coupons and taking advantage of “rain cheques”.
Where are the kids while Kate is shopping and Jon is at work? A babysitter watches the little kids, and Cara and Mady are in school. Kate explains that she has exactly two hours while the little kids nap, and she hustles to arrive back in time for when they wake. I imagine its much easier on a babysitter if the sextuplets are sleeping!!
The family also goes shopping for Christmas presents, and the children get to pick out gifts for one another. This proves to be fairly challenging as the twins, Mady and Cara, are secretly encouraged by Jon and Kate to purchase matching gifts for one another to prevent jealousy on Christmas morning. Its much easier for the little kids, as they won’t remember by the time they get home

Season 1, Episode 4: Time to remodel – Jon and Kate’s garage gets a much-needed makeover, with no help from the mini-Gosselins!
Jon enlists the help of Kate’s brother to install overead garage hanging storage, wall shelves and several cabinets. It of course takes much longer than anticipated as the sextuplets are constantly sneaking into the garage to “help Daddy”. Most of the work is done by Kate’s brother as he presumably just wants to get on with his day, and in the end the garage looks fabulous (even Kate agrees!)

Season 1, Episode 3: On this episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8…
The air is crisp, as the Fall season descends upon the Gosselin clan. Parents Jon and Kate decide to take the twins and sextuplets to an orchard to pick pumpkins and apples. Kate explains that this is something they have done every year, and tradition is important to her. Each child picks out a pumpkin to carve that reasonably resemebles their shape and size (so cute!) and Colin attempts to gather and pile all of the pumpkins (a habit you will see throughout the series!).
The day ends on a positive note with the kids making their way through a maze of corn. Kate overcomes her fears of not being able to see all of the children, until little Aiden goes missing!! Jon makes his way back through the maze to find him, sneaks up on Aiden from around a corner and is met with delighted giggles

Season 1, Episode 2: Kate Gosselin finds the duties of being a stay at home mom to twins and sextuplets too much to handle on her own while husband Jon Gosselin is at work during the week, so the couple decides to hire a housekeeper.
Kate brings in three potential housekeepers to interview, and pretty much outlines to each lady what exactly she expects of them. Kate explains she mops the floors three times each day, by hand, to which one of the potential candidates retorts, “I don’t do that.” During the interview process, we find out that Kate is self-described OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), as well as very controlling. She has a list several pages long of each cleaning task, and has written out exactly how each task should be done. I imagine having to take care of eight children under the age of six requires her to be this organized, however it is clear the ladies being interviewed are not impressed.
During the interviews, the kids are playing by themselves in the other room, and eventually get restless, upset and tired. The “little kids” enter the kitchen where the interviews are taking place and demand Kate’s attention, making the last interview visibly frustrating.
Kate immediately rules out the first candidate due to a foreseen language barrier (she says with eight kids, she has enough barriers already), however the other two candidates refuse to work for Kate. She ends up indeed hiring the first candidate, and while the new housekeeper is cleaning on her first day, Kate enjoys spending time playing with the children in the basement of the family’s home.
While following the new housekeeper around the house (secretly, of course!) Kate discovers the woman is not cleaning to her standards (she vacuums around a hamper in the hallway, instead of moving it to vacuum the whole carpet) and subsequently fires her.
The episode ends with Jon and Kate enjoying a rare dinner out alone, while “Aunt Jodie” takes twins Mady and Cara for a sleepover and a family friend watches the sextuplets at home.
